![]() What a beautiful dessert! It is not trying to be healthy – it is sweet, chewy, full of chocolate, dates, and coconut, with a little salt. The flavor is great and the texture is nice, but a little oily and definitely not a light breakfast by any means!Īnd lastly, my hands down favorite was the samoa bar with chocolate and coconut. The morning glory muffins were also delicious, but they are definitely on the heavier side. To be honest, I could not taste the cheddar much, though it was definitely there upon visual inspection. The cheddar cornbread was delicious – the texture was nice and soft and the level of sweetness and saltiness was perfect. The bagel was a bit coconut-y, but the everything seasoning more than made up for it AND it held together very well. I eat gluten and am not vegan, and yet, I would say that this bakery is better than most of its non-vegan gluten-full counterparts. This bakery FAR surpassed my expectations. We first enjoyed the great mock crab cakes and kale Caesar salad, and then we enjoyed our baked goods, and they were all awesome! We took some for the next day of course too. We found this place from my “Find me Gluten Free” app and I’m so glad we did. They’re repeated participants in the summer and winter Maryland Vegan Restaurant Weeks. Shout out to Lisa and her hard-working team over there! Lisa is a good spirit. They go great with tea and coffee…and dipping. Haven’t tasted he Blueberry Crumb Gluten-free donut (pictured) yet but I’ve had their donuts before and they’re delicious. It was so good!!! I also had the iced Golden Milk for the first time. Today, for the first time I had the Carrot Lox and Cashew Cream Cheese on an Everything Bagel. Everything is freshly made and amazingly tasty. Doesn’t get much better than that! ❤️ Naijha Wright-Brown (Naijha Speaks) Excellent customer service, friendly staff, clean spot. Next time you want a dynamite vegan spot, this is a MUST! You will be very happy. It’s hard to say no to just one of her savory/sweet treats. Everything is made by scratch with love from the owner and it shows in her food. This little bakery in Baltimore is your go to for breakfast or if you want to treat yourself to her homemade desserts. I’m still giving the food 5 stars, but I say that one should just be potentially ready for a non ideal interaction with the staff. I understand it could have been an off day for them, and I don’t want this to detract from the review. the servers were kind of rude (multiple members of my party agreed). Worth noting, I didn’t think customer service was great. I had to resist going back again later in the day. ![]() All were delicious with the standouts being the gooey cinnamon roll and mouth-watering black bean empanada. Thaddeus WoodardĪbsolute Gem!!!! I got the black bean empanada, a chickpea curry tart, 2 cinnamon rolls, and some pumpkin cake. Update: coconut cake is fluffy with crisp ends, perfect with coffee! The Browne has great chocolate content and just the right amount of walnuts. Great customer service! Awesome food! Cool location! ….but the outdoor seating in November is a no go. I will be back - with everyone I know □ Christine R I was unfortunately in a rush so I couldn’t enjoy as much as I wanted. The Golden Milk was great as well if you order it, make sure to mix it a little before drinking. The texture of the chocolate and the coconut flavor was unbeatable. I also got a Samoa Bar, which was no doubt one of the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life. I would have loved the portions to be a little larger and have the “cream cheese” be a slightly thicker, but that’s just me. ![]() The cashew cream cheese was creamy and rich. The bagel was certainly fresh and homemade. I ordered the carrot lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel. When I stopped by to pick up the cake, I got myself some lunch. The entire party was surprised when I told them it was vegan and gluten free. The cake was moist and quite dense but amazingly flavorful all the way through. I ordered a 6′ cake for a friends birthday, and they were able to get it done in such short notice. Everything I ordered was easily some of the best food I’ve had since moving to the city.
